What kind of person Marechiyo Omaeda?

Marechiyo Omaeda is a plump-looking man who looks like he's rich. In fact, his family owns a jewelry store and is rich, so he always wears expensive bracelets. Also, his name is known as Marechiyo Omaeda, but his official name is "Marechiyo Yoshiayamenosuke Nikkoutarouemon Omaeda Omaeda Nikko Tarouemon Mishobusuke Kichiyo(大前田 日光太郎右衛門 美菖蒲介 希千代)", so he seems to call himself Marechiyo Omaeda because his name is too long.

Omaeda is loser and runs away immediately when he encounters an enemy, and there are many scenes where he tries to rely on his boss SUI-FENG, and many of his subordinates, including SUI-FENG, lick him a little. His father is Marenoshin, a man who was originally the second division vice-captain. he seems to have become such a character because Marenoshin expected too much from him.

However, when the time comes, he is a man who can do it in his own way, and when fighting Arrancer, who is higher than himself, he shows himself weak and makes the opponent let his guard down, and wins by surprise attack.

He was a bit of bad guy when he appeared, but I feel like he's grown into a good guy with each episode.

About Marechiyo Omaeda Zanpakutou

Shikai : Gegetsibiro (五形頭)

Omaeda's Zanpakutou is "Gegetsuburi", When writen in Kanji, it becomes "五形頭", and the meaning is "Five-shape of head". Triger commander is "Crush it Gegetsuburi !!"

A Zanpakuto in the shape of a large iron ball with thorns around it(look like a morning star). It doesn't have any special abilities, but he's simply a power-type Zanpakutou. In the work, he showed the power to crush Arrancer with one punch. Also, his Zanpakuto is broken several times in the story, but since it returns to its original shape immediately, it seems that it will return immediately if the Shikai is released.

However, the 2nd division he belongs to is a covert maneuver, so it can be said that Zanpakutou does not suit him very well. Since there is no bankai for Gegetsuburi, I will not explain Gegetsuburi's bankai.

He seems to supplement his mobility with covert maneuvers.

Marechiyo Omaeda Battle Records

Omaeda's Battle record is 1 win, 1 lose. Although he is the vice-captain of the 2nd division, he does not seem to be involved in battles much, and in the work he has two battles.

Omaeda fought Ichigo Kurosaki and was defeated by Ichigo, with Omaeda's zanpakuto being destroyed in a single blow. At this point, it can be said that it helped increase Ichigo's strength, but it left Omaeda with the image of a loser.

The next battle scene is fight with Nirgge Parduoc who is Arrancer. Nirgge is also a power-type Arrancer with the ability to transform and fight like an elephant. Omaeda pretends to be weak and fights to lure Nirgge off guard, and knocks down the off guard Nirgge with Gegetsuburi.
