What kind of person is Yumichika Ayasegawa?

Yumichika Ayasegawa is a male Soul Reaper with a bobbed hair and flashy Hair extensions on his right eye. He has a high sense of beauty and a narcissistic personality. He looks like a woman, but he's not gay, just a normal person with a high sense of beauty. He sits in the 5th seat of the 8th squad. (Fifth position in the 8th division). The reason is that the number 5 is beautiful. He actually wants the third seat, but he is giving it up to his childhood friend Ikkaku Madarame.

About Yumichika Ayasegawa Zanpakutou

Fake Shikai Name：Fujikujaku(藤孔雀)

Yumichika's Zanpakutou's name is Fujikujaku, and when activated it takes the shape of an Ethiopian double-edged curved sword called a shorttail, with four blades. Fujikujaku means wisteria color peacock, and it maybe was named so because the blade of the sword resembles a peacock. Trigger commands is "Bloom(Sake 咲け)"

The 11th Division has a tradition of fighting with direct attacks, and other than increasing the number of blades, there is no particular effect.

True Shikai Name:Ruriiro Kujaku(瑠璃色孔雀)

Yumichika's Zanpakutou's real name is Ruriiro Kujaku, and the meaning of the name is Ruriiro Peacock. It means ultramarine blue color peacock. Trigger commands is "Split and deviate(Sakikurue 裂き狂え)"

Zanpakutou's true ability is to wrap the vines around the enemy and absorb their power. When the enemy's power is absorbed, the vine will turn into a bud, and when it finally blooms, the enemy will die. The reason why Yumichika hid his Zanpakutou ability was because the 11th Division had a tradition of direct attacks, so he hid his ability to avoid being ridiculed by those around him. Kenpachi and Ikkaku's Zanpakutou are melee attacks, and Yumichika lied because he didn't want them to hate him.

Yumichika has also changed the Trigger commands, and it seems that if he doesn't call Zanpakutou by Zanpakutou's real name, Zanpakutou will become sluggish and won't use true power.
